Sandbeach Campground offers a clean, well-maintained environment with friendly camp hosts and excellent access to the beach and dunes, making it a great spot for families and ATV enthusiasts. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites and enjoyable atmosphere, despite some noise from OHVs and occasional bathroom maintenance issues. Site was clean, fire pit needed a little tlc. Bathrooms used to be heated, not anymore. Bathrooms also needed a good cleaning. Neighbors were cool, not too loud.

It does the job. I visited the campsite for the weekend to witness the nearby king tides. I didnβt stay for long except for sleeping at night. Other reviews mention the same thing; it can get noisy due to RV generators running continuously and ATVs driving by past 10 pm. If youβre not interested in ATV/dunebuggy activities, thereβs not much to do there. However, thatβs okay. There was a bathroom with flushable toilets, and the site was flat and easy to access, so I didnβt have any complaints.

We should have known that this was not our type of campground due to it being a recreation area. We were surrounded by toy haulers and very loud ATVβs that did not quiet down until after 2am despite a brief police presence around midnight. We got up at 5am and left as fast as we could.
