About Bull Prairie Campground (OR)

Bull Prairie Campground is a local gem; a beautiful, woodsy place to enjoy a vacation, host a family reunion or social event, and to enjoy multiple recreational pursuits. This moderate-sized campground is located adjacent to 28-acre Bull Prairie Lake, which is stocked annually with trout. An accessible, family-friendly paved trail along the lake is ideal for morning jogs, bicycle rides, picnicking, and shore or dockside fishing. The lake has a boat ramp, dock and trailer parking area, but only non-motorized boating is allowed. Nearby trails connect the campground and lake with the Morrow County OHV Park, 8 miles away. Note: ATVs are only allowed at the dump station and in the north part of the campground (sites 25-28).   While this campground offers potable water, there is no garbage service so please pack out all garbage and dispose of it at home.

Number of accommodations: 28

This was our first stay at this campground, and despite arriving during the wildfires with the lake closed for firefighting efforts, we still had a great experience.
This campground is a beautiful hidden gem. We stayed at Site 13, which overlooks the water and has its own water spigot. We even had a doe and her fawn wander right through our campsite! The trail around the lake is short, easy, and well maintained.
The only small downside is that Site 13 is next to the walking path, so you’ll have people passing by. Also, don’t forget bug spray, the mosquitoes were relentless (our fault for leaving ours at home!).
The camp host was incredibly kind and welcoming. We’d definitely come back when the lake is open to enjoy everything this campground has to offer.

It's a very clean and well kept campground. It's pack in pack out so we were very surprised how clean it was. The campground hosts were exceptional. Great place for kids. Vault toilets were clean. The water was drinkable. Bring mosquito repellent!
