An awesome mid-week stay at site 21. Would combine well with site 3 for larger groups. The camp hosts are incredible. They helped us haul paddleboards from our campsite to the doc and even had a couple of LEDs available to help us comply with OR regulations. An endless supply of free firewood. Several clean outhouses and water spigots for dishes nearby. There is a well maintained paved trail around the lake and a few site for fishing for trout from the shore. I had no cell phone coverage in the vicinity so plan accordingly once you pass Heppner or Spray.

This is one of my favorite spots in the NW. Very quiet park during the week. Lots of day use in the weekend but most were respectful of campers.

Site 25 was not very private. Almost shared with #26. Campground overall is very well maintained and quiet. We will be back!

The camp host is AMAZING!!! Cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever encountered at a campground! They were around just enough to make everything run super smooth. Helpful and informative. I would go back just to see them. Besides that, the lake was beautiful and clean as were the trails and paths. All the other campers we very courteous and respectful at night time. 100% a good time!
