Beautiful drive all the way to the campground. Park hosts and staff keep this campground clean, quiet and maintaining its natural beauty. Love the paved trail around the lake. Nice hiking trails. Wonderful place to enjoy nature. Dump and fill your RV tanks prior to arriving. Make sure you have plenty of food and water. This is in a remote forested area. No cell service. Starlink works great.

The campground was extremely well maintained, the lake was beautiful. The camp host was absolutely The Best. She made rounds checking one everyone in the campground making sure everyone was taken care of have having a great time. Thank you for the excellent weekend we will be back to bull prairie!

Big Shout Out to the campground hosts and maintenance staff! one of the cleanest bunch of vault toilets I've experienced in a long time! Super friendly and extremely helpful, what a gem!

Very clean and cared for. The vault toilets were the cleanest I’ve seen. The trail around the lake is small but my kids loved it. Was an excellent family destination. Heather (host) was so nice and gave my kids Smokey the bear stickers and coloring stuff.

Good shade, fun lake to swim in, and it didn’t feel like the campsites were sitting on top of one another. The hosts were great, very knowledgable and great with the kids.

We loved this campground! The hosts were so friendly and even offered us free firewood. The lake is beautiful and has a paved path for easy access.

From Heppner, Oregon: Travel south on Highway 207 for approximately 36 miles. Turn east on Forest Service Road 2039 and follow signs to Bull Prairie Recreational Area.
Bull Prairie Campground is accessible via Highway 207, which is the primary route from Heppner, Oregon.

- Check in with Camp Host upon arrival.
- OHV use is prohibited in the main campground. All off road vehicles must remain on trailer's in main campground. They may be off loaded and loaded in day use area by the boat dock.Dogs must be on a leash at all times.No discharging of firearms or possession of fireworks allowed.Some campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.Be bear aware; keep all food out of sight in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from the area after eating.Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.Camping or otherwise occupying a single location (including leaving camping equipment and/or related supplies) for a period longer than 14 consecutive calendar days within a 30-day period is prohibited. ‘Location’ means the occupied area, the occupied campsite, and the National Forest System lands in the immediate vicinity thereof.Additional vehicles after the first 2 will require an additional $5 fee (per additional vehicle) paid on site.Motorized boating (gas or electric) is prohibited on the lake.Trash service is not available at this site. If you pack it in, please pack it out.
