Beautiful spot with lots of wildlife (nesting osprey, redwing blackbirds, frogs, deer). Bathrooms were very clean. Most attentive and helpful camp hosts I've ever encountered. Will be back.

I’m from South Africa and my wife is American, I loved camping in South Africa and this was my first time camping in the US. It was absolutely amazing! Restrooms and campgrounds are clean. The hosts are very friendly, they gave us firewood on the house. We hiked around the lake 3 times. I caught a fish and my wife was entertained by all the crawdads under the rocks. The only downside was that we were there only for one night!

The place is beautiful and quiet. Deer were everywhere and allowed us to view them without being skittish. The hosts were awesome and friendly. Although the camp grounds have no hookups it’s still A1 on our list. The free wood delivered daily by the hosts was definitely a plus. We liked how the trails around the campground were paved so we could ride bikes.

Heather and Jody (camp hosts) were so nice and keep the campground clean and enjoyable for everyone. They really go out of their way to make your camping experience excellent - we appreciated meeting them and all the camp wood they gave us!
