Wow what a place! Such a wonderful stay. Unfortunately just 1 night. Wish we had known how great it was! It is a good idea to bring paddle board, kayak and such. Nice walk around the lake.

It was a beautiful campsite, right on the lake. Beautiful surroundings and deer right next to the camper.

This is an excellent campground. It was clean and well kept. The hosts were very helpful and courteous. The trail around the lake is clean and well kept. The lake is stocked and most everybody was catching their limit. We will be coming back again.

The camp host was fantastic! She was welcoming, Informative, friendly, very present in the campground. I have never encountered such an amazing camp host. Her husband (a FS employee) was also super helpful and friendly. What a great duo.

Can’t say enough good things about our visit here. Remote, gorgeous, great fishing and the hosts are really what made the trip. Heather and Jodie are hands down the best hosts I’ve ever had. They provide wood, and are always there to help with anything you need. The stars over the lake are worth the trip alone.

We stayed in sites 6 and 23. Both sites were spacious and felt secluded. The campground is very well maintained and has a lot of things to keep you busy for all ages. The lake was great for fishing and swimming, and the trail around the lake was a nice hike and easy enough for our 2 year old to do. The camp hosts were amazing. They bring free firewood every night to all campers and will bring more if you ask. (Don’t worry about bringing wood, they will give you some and they don’t pick favorites). They also brought little goodie bags for the small children. The camp hosts definitely go above and beyond to make your stay a good one. There are lots of bugs, so prepare for that. I burned Folgers coffee grounds around our camp and it seemed to work. Overall, we were very pleased with our whole camp experience and will definitely be back!

Amazing trip!! We spent a long weekend there with family walking the lake, campground, and fishing. We stayed in site #2 and I was pleased with the privacy and being tucked away when we wanted to relax with the dogs. (My dogs get excited with passerby’s.)
I was pleasantly surprised by the bathrooms - clean, daily checked and restocked, even spray!! Hosts were incredible - kind, intentional, and friendly! They provided free firewood, kid activity baggies, and glow sticks!
Only bummer were mosquitos were pretty rough. Don’t forget you and your dogs bug spray! But that’s part of camping!
We cannot wait to go back next year!!
