What Guests Are Saying
Lost Lake Resort and Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with scenic lake views, spacious campsites, and a friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, good fishing, and nearby hiking trails, as well as the convenience of on-site amenities like a store and boat rentals. However, the campground can be busy, especially on weekends, leading to noise and crowding issues, and some facilities, like bathrooms, may need more attention. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many returning campers.

The only comment I have is that there was a larger group near us who had a bunch of kids with them, which was great. However, they let the kids go at it with an axe on small fur trees, which broke my heart. I have seen through the 10+ years we've been coming here how more and more, trees are being used for "entertainment" of axe throwing etc. Wondering if there are any policies in place to make sure to educate guests to NOT destroy the trees in this incredible campground.
Kind Regards,
Sonia

We have a 36’ Class A and stayed in site B2. While the site was adequate to park our rig and tow, the website photo was a bit deceptive as it appeared larger side to side than it actually was. The old growth trail was delightful and the image of Mt. Hood reflecting off the water at sunset was amazing!

Well run camp site. We did the walk-in camp sites in the D loop. It was definitely harder hauling everything from our cars but there was luckily a little wagon to borrow!

Lost Lake is always an incredible place to stay. It really feels like camping in the forest without feeling absolutely stranded. The lodge and store offer the quick necessities and forgotten items.

The camp spot is beautiful. It’s far more of a walk than 200 feet walk and kind of isolated. So if you are by yourself and only stay for 1 night (like me), I would not recommend it. Luckily, I was able to switch to a different camp spot (and paid the difference, but I was happy to because I didn’t wanna to be so isolated.

The spot was really interesting. It's on a slope with a view and lake access which was nice. The only things that were less than pleasant were we could smell the bathrooms from our spot. The 2nd was they didn't strictly enforce dogs needing to be on a leash. Random small dogs were running the paved path and almost into our camp where we had dogs. Our dogs were very aggitated by this. Careless dog owners made the trip a little less enjoyable.
