Some of the campsites listed as RV sites are NOT RV sites. The first one we pulled into barely got us off the road. The brush was so heavy on either side of the pad, we couldn't use our slide or our awning. If we had used the slide, it would have blocked our access to the firepit and table because those items were on the side opposite the door to the RV.
The second site was better---deeper and the brush was further back from the pad. They need to review all their sites as to their best uses.

This was a beautiful campground! The sites were large and very private. They must have had a hard winter because there were a lot of very large trees that had fallen on the boardwalk and trails. We wish the burger grill had been open, but it was early in the season. I will be back!

Lost Lake campground is more expensive than other campgrounds in the area but not as well maintained. The 3.1 mile hike around the perimeter of the lake was described as a stroll despite the numerous obstacles created by fallen trees. And the toilet paper dispenser closest to our campsite was completely empty on the second night of the long holiday weekend.

We had a beautiful secluded site from other campers. My kids enjoyed the fallen logs to play on. The camp was clean, and the lake and view of Mt Hood was magical.

A well-maintained park, and all of the campsites were unique, and so nice that many are drive thru. And beautiful campsites for tent camping. The bathrooms were clean. Weekdays in May there weren't many people which was wonderful. A big and beautiful park I look forward to visiting again.

From Portland Oregon: Take Highway 84 for approximately 58 miles, exiting at #62. Take Country Club Road to Barrett Drive turning left on Barrett Drive to Tucker Road. Turn right on Tucker Road which eventually intersects with 281 (Dee Highway); take Dee Highway to the Lost Lake Road exit, Lost Lake Road dead-ends at Lost Lake Resort & Campground.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Check-in is required before setting up your site during May, and can be done at a kiosk, store, or with a host.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Fees & deposits
- An additional fee of $20 per night applies for extra vehicles and $32 per night for extra RVs.
- A day use fee of $15.00 is charged per vehicle.
- A 2% tax is applied to campground fees.
Site capacity
- A minimum stay of three nights is required on weekends and holidays, and site swapping or selling is prohibited.
Safety & rules
- Motorized vehicles are prohibited on the lake.
- Adverse weather conditions may occur in May, affecting roads and sites; consult a host before setting up your site.
Wildlife & food storage
- Be cautious of bears in the area; maintain a clean campsite and store food in closed containers.
