What Guests Are Saying
Lost Lake Resort and Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with scenic lake views, spacious campsites, and a friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, good fishing, and nearby hiking trails, as well as the convenience of on-site amenities like a store and boat rentals. However, the campground can be busy, especially on weekends, leading to noise and crowding issues, and some facilities, like bathrooms, may need more attention. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many returning campers.

Nice well kept campground. Great views and plenty of activities to to on an around the lake for all ages. Only negative is that most of the campsites are about a 10-15 minute walk away from the lake and there are no views of the lake from the campsite. Overall, had a great time and would recommend.

Love this camp ground have been going there for 6 years but last time a party of campers decided to scream yell play load music till 2 am after yelling out my door to keep it down they stopped the music but still load screaming and yelling 10 pm is quiet time ,complained to management they said they would have them leave but that didn’t the next night they retaliated with even loader music screaming and yelling but only till 10 pm I understand campers want to have fun but when you are woken up at midnight for 2 hours the whole campground campers pay the price not sure I’ll be going back they should of been asked to leave because they retaliated as I new they would

We love lost lake! So pretty, clean, and welcoming! We love the walk around the lake every morning, and my husband likes to take a morning to hike the big peak nearby while I sunbath with the dogs on the beach. Lost Lake feels like a second home, that reminds us what it feels like to truly be at home.

I have been camping at Lost Lake for many years and have usually enjoyed it very much. But each time I come I notice that the noise level gets louder and louder. Last August I was kept awake until at least midnight and during the day the noise level never ended. I talked with other campers and they agreed the it is out of hand. Camp hosts were right in the middle of the noise and they never did a thing. It's cursing and yelling at each other instead of enjoying the beauty of the place.

I have been going to Lost Lake for 46 years. Since the new management, there has been a huge influx of people. Sadly, there seems to be not as much care for the camp ground, and the experience, rather more about the owners making money. There are some nice improvements i.e. added Yurts, more boats, better items at the store, but I don't go camping to see the flocks of people that come. It felt like Disneyland.
Last year there was a domestic violence issue. The camp host didn't want to call the Sheriff. The campers felt unsafe, and eventually many campers convinced the camp host to call the Sheriff. The camper was removed/arrested. In all my years at Lost Lake, I have never experienced this. The year prior, our camp was threatened by the camp host for laughing too loud. Over all, not impressed. Sadly.

We had a fabulous time! This is one of the most photographed lake/mountain scenes ever, and it is certainly worth the curvy drive up the mountain to get there. Nice trails, fairly good bathrooms. Love the rental dock.
