What Guests Are Saying
Lost Lake Resort and Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with scenic lake views, spacious campsites, and a friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, good fishing, and nearby hiking trails, as well as the convenience of on-site amenities like a store and boat rentals. However, the campground can be busy, especially on weekends, leading to noise and crowding issues, and some facilities, like bathrooms, may need more attention. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many returning campers.

What a beautiful location and the campground is set up to experience these lovely woods with trails and sites. Campsites are spacious in D-loop and private. Other loops are more intimate but comfortable. All have a wooded feel and joy of sharing forest. Check in with an RV was clumsy due to limited parking and challenging turnaround but, employees were terrific.
Such a perfect wooded campground. Come prepared as no stores close by albeit, lodge has convenience items and a decent grille. Highly recommended.

We stayed at walk-in site D008. It was a private site with multiple tent spots at various locations on the site. The campground and toilets were very clean. Water was easily accessible and clean. The grounds trails were well maintained. The three mile hike around the lake was perfect for an easy scenic hike, the Mountain View was just what we needed. We saw salamanders and the water was as clear and calm. Thank you Lost Lake staff for your friendly presence and for the beautiful facility you up keep! We hope to be back in the future.

We absolutely love this campsite. D24 is our favorite site in the gorge so far. Great privacy, far enough from the hubbub near the lodge, but still walkable. Very clean and well kept. We will continue to return every year!

The Rhodies were all in bloom during our mid June stay. Some of the prettiest campsites ever. And no mosquitoes! Nicely maintained vault toilets. Know however that the campgrounds are all a block from the lake. In order to see Mt Hood requires driving or walking to a viewpoint past the store and marina. Or the view is stunning from a boat, kayak or SUP.

Site 15 was massive and private room for two large tents possibly three, space for a hammock chairs canopy etc. it is near the access road but the road is quiet in the night with no one coming or going. Trailer pull through was a great length and pretty level.

Well situated campsites with space between. Restrooms were a disappointment. Pit only and long walks to get to the few available. Very difficult for the disabled in my group. The store had a menu but didn't open the grill, as we were weekday campers. Hi priced for no water or electric in the sites and pit toilets. Still, it's a gorgeous environment and campers gotta adjust expectations.
