Lost Lake is a beautiful and amazing well kept place. While the windy narrow road with no shoulder up there was a bit nerve wracking pulling a 33' 5th wheel it was worth every moment we had up there. The trails all over the place created hours of fun for our family. The kids especially enjoyed the "wood bridges" through the woods which were impressive to us as well. It became VERY crowded over the weekend, with day use people on the lake, but the campground area remained full but quiet. Loved the distance between sites too. We will definitely try and make this an annual camping trip, just have to remember to book 6 months out.

I have been going to Lost Lake for the last 20 years. It was always a pleasure. This will definitely be our last trip. It’s just disgusting. People are filthy and the owners don’t do enough to clean up.
We had a campsite that essentially smelled like an ashtray from the people before us. Cigar butts in the fire ring. Just gross.
Our day spot was totally gross as well. Cigarette butts (not one but like 10), beer caps and toilet paper everywhere.
This place isn’t cheap and the check-out time at 11:00 vs the check-in time at 4:00 seems like it would allow plenty of time for the grounds keepers to clean up before the next campers.
Lastly, having to check-in at the store where you wait to find a parking spot and then wait in a long line to get your parking pass for your site is absurd. Why not have people get their passes at the entrance gate kiosk as they pass through ? Why make people go to the the camp store?
Bottom line is this place is really expensive in terms of camping. Also, day passes and extra vehicles at sites are $15/day. I would like to see more of these $$$ going towards clean-up. Unfortunately, people can’t seem to do it themselves.

From Portland Oregon: Take Highway 84 for approximately 58 miles, exiting at #62. Take Country Club Road to Barrett Drive turning left on Barrett Drive to Tucker Road. Turn right on Tucker Road which eventually intersects with 281 (Dee Highway); take Dee Highway to the Lost Lake Road exit, Lost Lake Road dead-ends at Lost Lake Resort & Campground.

Policies & Rules
Arrival & departure
- Check-in is required before setting up your site during May, and can be done at a kiosk, store, or with a host.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Fees & deposits
- An additional fee of $20 per night applies for extra vehicles and $32 per night for extra RVs.
- A day use fee of $15.00 is charged per vehicle.
- A 2% tax is applied to campground fees.
Site capacity
- A minimum stay of three nights is required on weekends and holidays, and site swapping or selling is prohibited.

- Motorized vehicles are prohibited on the lake.
- Adverse weather conditions may occur in May, affecting roads and sites; consult a host before setting up your site.
Wildlife & food storage
- Be cautious of bears in the area; maintain a clean campsite and store food in closed containers.
