Very clean sites, but most do not provide much privacy because they are so close together. Most sites are right along the river with easy access to your own beach! Quaint campground that offers a peaceful setting to enjoy the forest, river, and close access to other trails. Not sure how quaint it would be if your next-door campsite was occupied by someone less-than pleasant.

What a lovely little spot right on a glacial fed river.. loud and milky in the afternoon, quiet and clear in the mirning. The camp host explained it was because the snow field and glaciers that fed it froze at night (in September) and the flow slowed. Then warm days melted the ice, and the river surged! A different river morning to evening! Very nice people, super clean and well maintained camp ground, quiet and beautiful, clise to Hood River, Mt Hood, and hiking trails.

I pulled up to camp site 18 and there was zero privacy. My camp neighbors on the left were right in view and already hogging all access to the river. I felt like I was intruding on their experience. I was planning on car camping so I didn't bring a tent. I was so disappointed I just drove back home. Really nice camp group other than that. Other sites had a lot more privacy.

Loved our stay at Nottingham. The river right next to the very accessible sites was amazing. We mostly came to get away from everything for a while, and that's what we did. No cell service or wifi, but we didn't need or want it. Just a short distance from Parkdale, Odell, and Hood River, so groceries, ice, and water were there if needed.
Only complaint is it looked like some previous campers had been hard on some of the toilets, so a few repairs would make it even better.
Loved the location, beauty and peacefulness of Nottingham. Will definitely be back.

Great spot. Overnight or longer, Spots right on the Hood River. Lots of sand. Quiet and comfortable. If you are coming south from Hood River, take a right before Nottingham to Parkdale, a cute, clean little town with a great grocery store McIsaac's Market - Parkdale. They have all your needs, very clean and personable staff. You can get a sandwich there, mail your postcards at USPS across the parking lot and there's a brewery we missed and other amenities. Nottingham is quiet and comfortable and you get the sounds of the rushing river. We loved it.
