Nice, spacious campsites - many on the East Fork of the Hood River. Toilets were very clean (and actually smelled good). Camp Manager/Host was attentive and cordial. Ours was a very pleasant experience.

Second year in a row here, we love Nottingham! So many large, private sites right on the river, beautiful, quiet campground with sounds of the rushing water at night. That being said, please don't be the jerk that brings an RV with a loud generator. There are no hookups, this is not that kind of campground and that amount of noise can really ruin the experience for others. We were fortunate to have respectful quiet neighbors, but walked by one situation like this and felt really bad for the campers around them. Not cool! Pit toilets were clean. No water available, you need to pack in your own. Dipped into the 30s at night in August, bring layers! Fire ban is in effect for good reason so plan accordingly. Camp hosts are friendly and were very helpful in directing us to the closest gas station when we needed to pump up a leaking tire stat!

The host was very helpful. He trimmed brush on a trail to the river and helped us change our reservation to a different site. The campground is beautiful with large and private sites, but I shouldn’t say anything more because I prefer to keep this gem a secret.

Nottingham is an excellent campground. The campsites are sandy, level, and spacious. Most sites are right on Hood River. The bathrooms were only OK in the cleanliness department, but always stocked with TP. Not too much road noise especially with the gurgling river sounds. The closeness to Portland made it an easy, quick overnight trip! Sites 16, 17, 18, and 19 would be great to group together.

The river sites are very nice and peaceful. The bathrooms were clean. The concessionaire employees were friendly and helpful. We wished we’d planned for a longer stay.

The campsite itself was absolutely incredible - right on the river and very secluded. Clean, nice, well taken care of. The only thing is that the camp manager is a total stickler for the rules. Don't bother trying to reason with him, he doesn't care. He won't be rude about it, but it's his way or the highway. So if you have extra cars, be prepared to pay for them. If you want to move campsites, be prepared to pay for it.

Wow, campsite 17 was right along the rushing river. Great place to camp, would come back. Parking places are bigger than expected, we fit a 20ft camper van and a small SUV alongside one another.
