Great peaceful family environment. Camp hosts were great! We have been camping there for the last 6 to 8 years and enjoy our summers there meeting family and friends.

One of the best run and best managed USFS campgrounds in the country! The hosts were also friendly and were very attentive to everything in the campground. We will definitely be back next year!

We hope that your reservation system works better next year. We always book 6 months in advance.
When friends or family have checked to reserve sites 2-3 weeks before arrival dates the system shows X a lot of times.
When arriving to campground there's sites available. What does the X mean?? Can you explain this.
The camp host this year did a good job.

This is a pretty nice campground and we had a spot on the 3rd level; where most of the spots are doubles so quite a bit more money but as it turned out, worth the extra because our area was quiet as opposed to the lower areas closer to the lake were quite noisy.

Poole Creek was surprisingly pleasant, lemolo lake was so beautiful with white cliffs and theilsen in the background. We enjoyed swimming around the boat dock, walking to the dam and looking at the stars on the dock at night. Good campground location to check out crater lake was well. If we had more time it looked fun to paddle board and kayak around too. The bathrooms were clean, toilet paper stocked but no hand sanitizer. Campsite 59 is posted as a double-site but it was on a slant and only had 2 areas good for tents. We had to move a down tree from an area to find a βflatβ spot. It did had 2 tables, good shade, near a bathroom but def not the best ground
