What Guests Are Saying
Poole Creek Campground serves as an excellent base for exploring Crater Lake, with a peaceful family-friendly atmosphere and attentive camp hosts. Many visitors appreciate the clean facilities, spacious campsites, and beautiful views of Lemolo Lake, making it a popular destination for summer camping and water activities. Bathroom was filthy, no toilet paper, people shooting guns, no camp host, reported to Roseville office and nothing done.

Beautiful campground next to an equally beautiful lake. But late August and there is a campfire ban in effect. I get that. But we are in a campground with fire rings at each campsite. And it pretty green. Not dry at all. Not being able to have a campfire kinda takes the fun out of camping. And the fishing in the lake was non existent. So honestly we did not enjoy or tie camping at Poole Creek.

The lake here is nice, but the campground could be better. The outhouses are disgusting and should be cleaned more. There are no lights anywhere along the roads. Road is not well marked in terms of which direction to go. Most the trees have been partially burned in a fire so they look very scraggly. Campsites are ok if you can get one near the lake. I wouldn’t camp here again given the other choices in the area/state.

Lot 18 is by far the worst campsite at Pool Creek. It's right in the middle of a busy intersection where cars and boats pass by constantly. This lot is more for a family with kids who need easy access to the bathroom, water and trash.
Love Poole creek just not lot 18.

I have been coming to this campground since the mid 80's, although it has been since 05 since the last time. I have always loved camping here, and my most recent experience was pretty good, but it wasn't perfect. First off the mosquitos were terrible. They were always a nuisance, but they are downright vicious this year. That's not the fault of the campground, but just a warning to come prepared. The biggest issue was the fact that toilets were filthy and the one closest to our campground ran out of TP in both the men's and women's toilets, and the other ones were extremely low. Luckily I had my trailer, but I feel bad for anyone wanting to tent camp thinking there will be stocked facilities to use.
