Nice clean, quiet campground right on Lemolo Lake. Camp host was very nice and attentive. Sites are large with good distance between most spots.

Spacious sites. Quiet for as many sites available. Downside was mosquitoes but that is part of the deal.

We had reserved the group campground for the 15th thru the 22nd, and you kicked us out at the last minute. Gave 1 weeks notice so we had to scramble to find a place to go and low and behold, Poole Creek was the only choice by reservation only. The group campground would have cost much less for the all of us and it ended up costing us each $50 bucks more. So, we all camped spread out but we still socialized and ate together. I would like to know why Kate Brown had the authority to shut down a Federal Campground.

Poole Creek is definitely our favorite campground. Lots are clean, spacious, and have some privacy, is easy walk to the lake. The bathrooms are decently kept up. The lake itself is by far, our favorite part. Boat rentals are reasonably priced, it is calm enough to tool around in our kayak, and the swimming area is deep enough to be fun, but calm and shallow enough for the family to stay for hours.
This campground still seems to be a bit of a hidden gem, as it is typically not too crowded on weekdays. This is also one of the greater appeals to us. As often as I refer it to friends (as it is our most treasured camping spot), I also secretly wish they do not come!

Pretty great location close to Crater Lake NP. There were a decent amount of mosquitoes still around the area in August when we went, but with insect repellent they didn't bite, they were just annoying. The public bathrooms are pretty gross here but otherwise it was a good location for a one-night stay.

The campground is very clean. The camp hosts were polite and friendly. The edges of the spurs were crumbling, I assume due to the harsh winter weather, making it dangerous at times to walk in the dark. Need some fill along those 6-8 in drops for safety. Beautiful setting.
