Poole Creek has been one of my favorite campgrounds for 20 years. The only reason I didn’t give it an excellent rating is because they put in a reservation system about 5 years ago.

Best stay of my vacation. The campground sites are pretty big and you really feel like you are have your own space. The lake is beautiful and their is a nice trail that you can follow around portions of the lake.

The camp ground was clean and the lake was gorgeous. The trails are well marked. The bathroom was clean.
The only sad part was we were told that the nearest place to buy firewood was at Diamond lake, however on a walk we found that the general store at the KOA resort around the lake sells firewood.
