The scenery is spectacular, the lake is full of fish, the trails offer great destinations. What more could you ask for? The sites accommodate pickup campers, vans , and cars and only small trailers only because of the many granite boulders and alpine forest. Management does a great job in keeping the camp facilities clean and maintained .

We loved our stay at Anthony Lakes. The bathrooms were well maintained, sites were clean, host was super helpful and friendly. It’s a gorgeous location and next time we’ll bring our kayaks and floaties. I didn’t get any bites, since I used bug spray (Deet), but there were some mosquitoes in mid July. The campground was pretty quiet and comfortably cool at night for sleeping.

First time stay at the Anthony Lakes Campground. Spots were fairly private and the area well kept. School was out so there were many families with kids. The lake was nice and pretty quiet for fishing in the early morning, but turned into a loud screaming splash contest later in the afternoon. The camp host was awesome and available, coming around every evening to check on things and offer bundles of firewood or bags of ice, which could be delivered right to our site. The only negative were the bugs. Have never been bitten so many times and right thru clothing. Spray with 40% Deet had no effect at all. Will book later in the year next time for sure...

Such as beautiful place! We stayed in one of the yurts, which was a fun experience. The yurt was rustic, but made our stay feel cozy and convenient. The campground itself was very well maintained. The entire area is so gorgeous, and offers hiking, kayaking, fishing and an overall enjoyable experience. Anthony Lakes is now on our list of favorite places to camp.
