Too many people now know about this lake, when I was a kid you could come up any day of the week and find a spot. Needs to be catch and release only, not monitored and people taking home more than their limits of fish. Fly fishing only, saw lots of dead fish around the bank from bank fisherman ripping out the power bait hooks,

Lovely little lake. Nice paved, level RV sites. Great mountain biking and kayaking. We had a great time even though we don't fish or hunt.

Only 1 water spigot. Cattle graze well into the campground. Some campsites are a decent walk away from where you can park your car, making heavy gear typically used while car camping a pain to lug back and forth. Noticeable traffic noise, maybe from logging in the area?

This is a beautiful campground! It was quiet/peaceful, gorgeous, clean, and had abundant (kid-friendly) wildlife. The lake in August did not look very inviting as far as swimming was concerned, but we fished and paddleboarded everyday. Site 27 did not have enough shade for us, it was too hot in the afternoon, so next time we'll choose a different one.

First time visitor so wasn’t sure about the various sites. Stayed in our tent in the RV side while the kids and grandkids ended up on the tent side. Only there for 1 night so not a big deal but the generator noise was noticeable for us, none for the kids. Lake was great, having a doe and her fawn walk through our camp was spectacular and splashing in the lake a blast. Yellowjackets were as expected, numerous and hungry for our food in late Aug. We’ll plan better on our next trip and look forward to bringing our kayaks as well to better enjoy the lake waters.

Campground host was the best... kept everything clean and everyone inline with a smile. Chipmunks were good companions and love the eagle that flew gracefully overhead
