The LAKE WAS BEAUTIFUL! Camp site was clean. We had our own lakeside access. The trail around the lake was nice and the bridges and dock were well kept. The only issue we had was not being able to find the clean water source.

Walton Lake Campground was great. Water was clear. Outhouses were very clean. Number of open sites mid-week so not very crowded. Swam, and. paddle-boarded, Mountain biked to top of Round Mountain and part of the lower Lookout mountain trail & saw total of 2 people. Hiked on forest roads around the lake & was by myself.

Campsite #20, which we had reserved, and others on that side of the lake were walk-in sites which was not made clear on the reservation website information. Our group had an 82 year old with mobility issues and having the picnic table & tents down a flight of stairs and the bathroom up the stairs and across the road was not going to work for us. Fortunately, the camp host, John, was very helpful to assist us in finding another campsite option for our 3 night stay. It would be nice if there was a way to release the first site and use a different site without having to pay for both, but I understand, ,sort of, why that is not possible. It was our group's first time at Walton Lake and we enjoyed it very much.

This is a small lake at a high enough elevation to remain cool in this summer heat. We don't fish, but it looks to be a great spot for families to fish. You can keep 2 rainbow trout, and there's no limit on brown trout. At least two fishing spots are wheelchair accessible. The lake was full, and the water pretty clear. The facilities were well kept, and the host friendly and informative. We'd definitely keep this spot in mind for future reference.

Wonderful campground for families with kids. Nice size campsites with room for play. The trail around the lake is just the right size for a walk
with small children. Small campground makes it uncrowded and family friendly.

Amazing. Ann was such a great host! Bathrooms had a light for night time. Such a nice touch. Not sure why there were so many dead fish - kinda weird. But such a great little lake and experience. Thank you !

The lake is small and beautiful. Perfect for kayaking and swimming. Great place for families. Fishing and walks around the lake are easy and
accessible. The campground is very well kept. The camp hosts were terrific. The campsites were well taken care of. The bathrooms are vaults but always clean and stocked with tissue. Any issues were handled promptly by the hosts.

Great place to bike ride for seniors, we really enjoyed it. We road around the lake many times on the paved road as well as the path, a lot of fun.

Extreme hot weather made it impossible to go. We stayed home in air conditioned comfort.
