What can you say about paradise. Great scenery. Quite. And stocked trout that are just begging to be in your frying pan. Now the best part. No cell service!!! We were in site #6 that is a reserved level pull through with lake views. The hosts are friendly and keep the place spotless. There is potable water available but like most National Forest campgrounds there are no rv hookups. There is a good mix of reserved and non-reserved sites so don't be afraid to try your luck and drop in on a weekday.

The campground hosts, John and Ann are awesome. John greeted me warmly as soon as I arrived. Later that 1st evening Ann drove by the site, stopped and asked if I needed anything. They keep the campground and facilities very clean.

Clean facilities, friendly staff. Awesome scenery. Fishing was slow, but everything else was great.

Very quiet campground on a beautiful small lake. Not far from the painted hills, a must see!

Overall, the campground, campsite, and lake were beautiful. The campground is well maintained and the hosts are super friendly.
I'm not sure if I missed it when I booked the site, but I wasn't expecting to hike down to our campsite. Granted it wasn't a long "hike" at all, but it was interesting unpacking in the dark... Lol.
My only complaint is that there were lots of screaming children and barking dogs. I thought it would be quieter at the end of September but I guess we picked the wrong weekend for peace and quiet.

Very clean campgrounds. They took care of the yellow jackets with a trap at every campsite. Beautiful setting!
