Small lake for kayaks and paddle boards with some swimming and fishing! Takes 30 minutes to walk around the whole thing. Lovely camp host and everyone was relatively clean and well maintained.

It used to be so much better. So popular now that it isn't as special as it was. Still a nice campground.

This is a great little campground. The host is very friendly and attentive, makes multiple trips around to clean up garbage, recycling, toilets. He also come around a few times a day with a trailer of wood for sale. The lake is great, the campsites are large and there’s no cellphone service!

The reserved spot we selected was an accessible spot that wasn't disclosed on this site. It was also just a few yards away from the outhouse so it was quite smelly. Also, there wasn't really a good spot for setting up our tent because it was meant for an RV. Luckily for us, the hosts were understanding and there were two other spots available for our stay. So, we were allowed to change spots. We were very grateful for that. The campground itself was very nice and the access to the water was easy to get our kayaks into and out of. There was a nice walking path that circled the lake that was pretty and full of things to see. We had a great time staying.

I understand no flush toilet in the campground, but there is not even a sink or a place to brush your teeth, that is so disappointing.

We make a 4 - 5 hour drive to Walton Lake every summer at least once. So we like it.

Such a beautiful lake. Our spot, #3, was perfect, but in direct sun all day, which was perfect for our solar power panels on the roof of our travel trailer, but it did get a bit warm inside. We did not have a view of the lake really, but the next spot #4 where our friends were had a great view, so most of our time was spent at their camp sight. Very quiet area of the art spaces, little traffics driving thru.

The camp itself is excellent. The reservation system is terrible. Through no fault of the camp host, the reservation list was wrong everyday we were there. Our space, for which we had a confirmed reservation, was twice in other peoples names which had to be straightened out. I was thankful I had printed a copy of the reservation. Also, it’s hard to see people turned away when a reservation has not been canceled and the space is vacant for a week. The stated policy of opening a space if the reserved space is not filled by noon the day after the original date should be followed.
