What Guests Are Saying

Bluebill Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with spacious and mostly private sites, making it ideal for camping and outdoor activities. Guests appreciate the clean facilities and proximity to the beach and hiking trails, along with friendly staff. However, some reviews mention noise from nearby RV users and OHVs, as well as a significant mosquito presence, particularly in the summer months.

The road signage is very insufficient, on the main road drove past the entrance sign (no mention of blue bill, just the other campground) then 10 minutes later the road ended so I turned back.
The campground is nice, clean, well managed.
Even after dark you can hear the OHV’s, and a nearby camper was tuning an OHV or boat engine in the campground.
Can’t blame anyone fir the heavy marine layer and drizzle which cut the stay short.

Campground was attractive, neat and well cared for. Sites are large enough to provide some privacy. The park itself is amazing - wish I had had more time to explore. Cell service was iffy, perhaps because of fog, and best in the parking lot near the beach.

The area is very nice, and great as a cool place to camp during the hot summer months. Definitely look at the images and details for your site, as what you see is what you get- I had issues finding a level place for my tent in site 004, and I saw that some sites only had pavement for their surface. There are a lot of UTV tracks around the area, so when events are present, the sounds of motors cross over to the camp ground very easily. Mosquitoes were everywhere so make sure to pack insect repellent. The beach is only a ten minute walk down the road, and there's a leisurely walk around Bluebill Lake nearby. The nearby Coos Bay has lots to do. Camp Host was very friendly and helpful. My phone company is AT&T and I had decent coverage over most of the area, but slow speeds, so light cellphone use for texting is okay, but any streaming or heavy use will have issues. Overall it was a good experience.
