I’m glad the campgrounds were open during the COVID
Would have been nice to have showers open though. Was a nice vacation all and all. This was our family’s 40th year of coming to your campgrounds Oregon dunes.

This place is HORRIBLE if you don't have ATV's. We went out for a nice camping trip with the kids on the coast. When we got there the only positive thing was the availability and warmth of the camp hosts; but even they proved to be unhelpful the next day. We took the kids to the beach for the day and when we got back there were two cars parked in our reserved spot in front of our site. We pulled up and they were sitting in their cars smoking pot, blowing their smoke right towards my kids and my niece (who are ages 2, 9 and 11) and my nephew who is 13. When we asked them politely to please not smoke in front of the kids, they said that there were in their car and could do what they wanted then proceeded to take a big puff of smoke and blow it right at the kids again. We asked them if they could please move their car so that we could park ours, the young man gave us dirty looks and gestured to the gun on his hip. When we went to complain to the camp host, they told us that they weren't going to do anything because the camp host last year got their stuff vandalized. If you choose to camp here, make sure you have an ATV. If you don't have an ATV, and you try to campy here, you will be treated like garbage by the campers and camp host alike because in their eyes, you don't belong if you don't have an ATV. I have been trying for 4 days now to get ahold of someone and ask for my money back. This place is AWFUL. My kids and niece and nephew spent the last night there TERRIFIED that the "bad man with the gun" was going to come "get us" in the middle of the night. I will NEVER stay here again and i would NOT recommend this place to anyone ever.
