Driftwood campground offers excellent dune access and a clean, quiet environment, making it a great spot for ATV enthusiasts and families. The camp host receives consistent praise for being friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. However, there are concerns about outdated facilities, particularly with limited shower hours and plumbing issues, which some visitors hope will be addressed in the future.

The place is pretty cool. It was different being on the south end of the dunes. It's pretty much a parking lot...a very tight one. We were there during the slow season (thanksgiving) so it wasn't too big of a deal but I'm not sure I'd enjoy the experience with the campground being packed. Maybe if I had a longer spot? It's very tight and that's with a slide in truck camper and a 16 ft flat bed. Anyway...I'd definitely go back if it's the slow season.
