Campground and restrooms were well kept. The Dunes were excellent as always.

Beautiful campground. Quite a few of the spaces are pretty private. Do the walk to the beach, so amazing through the dunes and to the beach.

Camp sites are spaced apart which is really nice. Feels like you are camping and not sitting in a parking lot awning to awning. Road maint definately needed. Some tables need repairs. Wonderful camp ground layout. We need more like this.

Too bad about the water situation ...not knowing the faucets worked. Good portapotties though as there were only 4 people in our section of the park. The camp hosts are kindof a joke and they drove over the grassy area when they checked on things leaving big tire tracks. But all in all a very nice quiet experience and we could hear the ocean at night. This is one of our favorites for foliage and walking trails! When you walk the trail, listen for the ocean/highway sounds to get your location.

We found this campground more than 15 years ago. It's been our favorite place to camp ever since. The sites are private enough that you don't feel like you're camping with the people next to you. Love that it's more basic than the "RV parks" , no hook ups, no street lights, just good ole camping! Helps that it's close to our favorite lake too!

There was no running water for two weeks prior to our arrival, and we were not notified about that before we got there. It was extremely disappointing.

Set in a beautiful coastal forest in the dunes. Sometimes you can hear the dune buggies, but not overly close. Campsites have good separation and some privacy.

What a great little spot!! Perched on a bluff overlooking a winding creek with fields beyond, there is shade and sun, and just enough amenities- a hot shower outdoors, porta potty, and comfy platform with mattress. You can pitch your tent on the platform, but I just chose to sleep under the stars. There's an outdoor gazebo area (shared use) with an electric tea pot power strip (for charging devices), and more. At no extra charge there's a sweet doggie, Roscoe, to pat- but guard your dinner carefully- he's interested!! The host, Season, is very friendly and welcoming without being "in the way". I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

This campground is located in close proximity to multiple lakes and wetlands. Due to this, there can be an abundance of mosquitoes between the months of April and August. Please be prepared for this. |
