The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. The sites were more private than other campgrounds we have camped.

Campground is great - except site 13. Site was illuminated all nite long by the security light behind the restroom.
The easy fix is to Turn Off The Light.
thank you

Sites were very nice and had a good amount of space between each other. The campground is very close to Eel lake too so there is plenty of things to do throughout the day.

Nice place. Quiet except for the ever present generator.
Very easy access to the dunes. Good place with kids.

Secluded campsites and friendly caretaker. The dunes are right there and the views are amazing. Clean bathrooms. Lots of chipmunks and squirrels.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. The camp spots are surrounded by beautiful trees and they offer lots of privacy. It's usually very quiet at night and there are lakes and dunes nearby for daytime activities.

We've stayed at this campground before so we already knew we'd like it. We love how lush the plant life is there and how much privacy it gives you between other sites and the road.
We were surprised that the dumpsters were full when we got there and didn't get dumped until about 10 days later. (We stayed there for 12 days) so the birds torn through the trash quite a bit. No big deal though, the rest of the grounds were kept up well and it seemed like a one time occurrence.
We had to move sites at one point because we couldn't find one available for the full time we were there. I accidentally moved us over a day early, and the camp host was incredibly nice and helpful in figuring out how to correct my mistake.
The location is pretty much half way between North Bend and Windchester Bay with some small stores right across Hwy 101 also a lake a few minutes away.
We visit this area several times a year, but mostly boondock. Though on occasion, it's nice to stay in this beautiful campground with the luxury of bathrooms and potable water next to every campsite.

This campground is located in close proximity to multiple lakes and wetlands. Due to this, there can be an abundance of mosquitoes between the months of April and August. Please be prepared for this. |
