Bathrooms were shut down. Had a large hornet nest in the ground at my camp asked staff if they had anything to kill them they stated nope you'll just have to deal with it. My kid got stung multiple times. Camp spot was smaller then shown in the pictures.

Eel Creek Campground is a beautiful, well-maintained campground with ready access to awe-inspiring sand dunes. The campsites themselves are well situated, allowing for a feeling of privacy, yet easy access to the clean bathrooms. I'd recommend reserving in advance and visiting the sand dunes.

Nice clean restrooms. It would be nice if they fixed the restroom doors so they didn’t slam so loudly. When you’re near them it makes getting a good nights sleep a little difficult. Other than that, our stay was wonderful.

It's a good location with lots of things to do nearby. The John dellenback trail loops around the campground and has some amazing dune views(this trail is rated moderate but probably should be rated higher).

We had to back into a pull thru site because of the trees. No water at campground, bathrooms are closed.

This campground is located in close proximity to multiple lakes and wetlands. Due to this, there can be an abundance of mosquitoes between the months of April and August. Please be prepared for this. |
