This is a great campsite. The bathrooms were super clean, and there was plenty of space at our specific site for us to pass a soccer ball and hang up multiple hammocks. There are trails that lead you to different parts of the campground as well as to the dunes. It is a super quiet campground as well. We had so much fun here.

The campground was very nice and well taken care of. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the noise of ATVs.

The trail from the campground to the beach is challenging but well worth it and the restrooms are clean and anti-bacterial soap was supplied until one of the other campers stole it. What's the matter with people?
The campsites are too close together so when late arrivals come and reserve on their phones while not being able to see what's around them and evidently not being able to determine on the app that they are crowding into an area it becomes more of a trailer park experience than camping. Again, what's the matter with people to crowd into one spot while leaving other areas vacant. Not having sites so close together would alleviate this problem. Finally the $8 reservation fee is too much, 2-3 dollars would be make more sense.

Love this campground. We've been coming here for many years and it's a favorite of ours. Love the nearby lakes, beautiful trails and setting of the campsites. Host is unobtrusive yet friendly in communication. Restrooms clean and safe feeling.

Otherwise this is a great campsite- our first campsite was quite trashy- we were able to switch campsites surprisingly easily by calling recreation.gov and we really enjoyed this site. Many of the sites are well secluded and the bathrooms were clean although missing soap. Great location next to the John Dellenback Trail which we highly recommend! Amazing experience hiking the sand dunes and coastal woods/ brush and getting time on the isolated piece of beach.
