Eel Creek Campground is a highly praised site known for its beautiful location near the Oregon Dunes and Sieslaw Forest, offering clean, private campsites and friendly hosts. Campers appreciate the access to hiking trails and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. While some suggest improvements such as counter space in restrooms and more accessible booking options, the overall experience is marked by cleanliness, privacy, and stunning natural surroundings.

This is right next to the John Dellenback Dunes trailhead so if you are looking for a hike through the Oregon dunes this is the campground for you. The campground seems to be protected from the wind but out on the dunes trail is a different story so be prepared for possible windy conditions if you’re going out. The bathrooms and campsites were clean and nothing crazy happened. 10/10

I have been to this campground many times for many years. Great place! But this time the restrooms were not clean, no toilet paper, and that's a shame for such nice buildings. We were there for 3 days and the campground was at most 1/3 full. I never saw a camp host making rounds.

Clean, Quiet, Nice Fire Pit n Table. Sites are close together yet private thanks to trees n foliage. Be back soon n often to enjoy riding the Dunes.

No running water and bathrooms didn’t work. We had a reservation for three nights and ended up leaving the second night. Pretty much was told there isn’t a refund policy. Besides that, campground was okay. Underwhelming, not a lot going on at the campground. People speeding by, you can see your neighbors, no privacy. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t return.

This campground is located in close proximity to multiple lakes and wetlands. Due to this, there can be an abundance of mosquitoes between the months of April and August. Please be prepared for this. |
