Everything was great, except the showers closed at 2pm,,,,I don't know about you,,but I like to shower at dinner time or just after,,at the end of a hard day playing in the Dunes,,,,Big Disappointment!
Needs changed,,the showers used to be open till 9pm,,,thank you

Several of the days we didn't have an on-duty camp host. People were running generators till midnight. People were driving quads and UTV's in and out of camp till 2 am several nights. One night somebody started a bike and kept revving it up loudly past midnight. I was disappointed with this and will think twice before coming back. We've never had this problem in Florence at Driftwood 2 campground.

Had everything we needed for our trip. I was not aware that it was directly attached to the sand dunes and resulted in people riding recreational vehicles late into the night. For people looking to bring and sleep in tents I suggest looking at the map and booking sites on the ends of the rows when possible. I did like that there were fire pits at all sites so we were able to have fires each night.

Sites are cramped with no privacy, tent sites are literally a parking spot in a huge paved lot with a small grassy median to pitch your tent. Proximity to the beach and dunes was fantastic however and the bathrooms (which also had showers) were clean and convenient. This would be a great spot if you have a rig but I wouldn't recommend it for tents.

The website states that water is available to fill your trailer, but when we went to fill up our trailer with water, the camp host stated that wasn’t allowed. Having the showers only open between 8-2pm is inconvenient after rising out on the dunes all day. The camp host did not do anything to enforce the quiet time at the campground and neither did any ranger. Generators were running after midnight. We were never checked in for our campsite.
