Enjoyed visit in April. Easy access to dunes. Not crowded.
It was nice to be off grid, just ride and chill.
Easy access to town if needed.

I don't know what what the cause was, but when I attempted to take a shower at 9pm on Sun, Mar 19th in the last womens shower stall (handicap) the water would not turn on, even after depositing 2 different tokens. I had to walk over to the host in a towel (since I was already undressed) and he was kind enough to manually turn on the water for me. It was quite embarrassing.
We did have a sketchy van drive through camp Sunday early evening acting like it was scouting. When approached, it took off.. Host stated the homeless have been coming into camp stealing stuff, even cutting chains when items are secured to a tree. He warned us not to leave anything out.
Other than that, no other issues. The host was always very polite and accommodating. He gets 5 stars.

We had a great time at Horsefal Campground in October of 2022. Being the time of year it was, it was not crowded at all. The weather was perfect so that certainly helped. We were able to secure a reservation with no problem in advance and there were plenty of open sites. The grounds were clean, the Campground Host was great, and access to the dunes was quick and easy. We rode our SXS and had a blast. There were numerous other campers / SXS enthusiasts present over the weekend but everything was quiet and orderly! We will definitely be back - just probably not in the middle of the busy season!

Not very busy, we had a wonderful much needed getaway. Unfortunately, there was someone who vandalized the bathroom. Campground was nice but does need a little facelift.
