It was a nice stay. Second time staying here and I really enjoy the easy access to the dunes for some riding. The two bad points were that the power went out to the restrooms so they were closed and there was another camper that ran a generator all night both nights we were there. I was tent camping so that was super annoying to hear the generator running all night long.

Overall good time other than the power being out and not being able to use the restrooms or shower for a day

Been going to this campground for years and always love the location for riding in the dunes , however, this year the host limited the showers from 8am to 2pm daily, which has never been done with this tiny of a window for showers. How is anyone supposed to ride all day and shower at the end of the day? Because I'm not done by 2pm . This is absolutely absurd. Also one note to the people who camp here and believe in putting there toddlers in bed by 630pm daily, quiet time is 10pm to 7am in the campground and the quiet time out in the sand dunes is 12midnight to 6am. So when the bikes are ripping revving and enjoying the freedom of riding in a designated space for atvs, dont complain and tell people to be quiet, if your kids need to go to bed and it needs to be quiet I suggest camping somewhere where the public is not going to enjoy the life of atvs and sand riding. Maybe go back to the city where you belong , also where atv's are not allowed to ride.
