No cell coverage. If you need to make any reservation changes you will have to drive into Florence. The camp host is not able to help with changes either. In fact, not sure what the camp host does except to make a presence.

Pretty bare bones campground but that's all we needed for our stay here. The bathroom could definitely use some improvements but it had sinks and flush toilets so it worked for us. The campground is a short drive from the beach so I recommend starting and ending your day there if your schedule allows because the view is unmatched!

Camped here for one night on a road trip. A good place to make dinner, go for a short walk, and spend the night. It also has good proximity to other attractions on the Oregon Coast. Given how the US Forest Service is so understaffed and under resourced, I thought the campground was in good shape. I would stay here again in route to other places, or when spending time in nearby towns. The campground itself didn't have a lot to do hiking or swimming wise, but that was okay for my needs.

The campground was very nice, other than the bathrooms. Other than restocking toilet paper, the bathrooms didn't ever get cleaned and were quite disgusting.

Nice campsites. Flush toilets and running water in bathrooms. Soap was provided. Nice walking trail around campsite. Private campsites with lots of trees around each site. My only complaint was the person who ran their loud generator for 7-12 hours everyday. He had a loud diesel truck that he would start and let idle for 20 minutes every morning at 6:30 am. Before driving out. But that isn’t something easily changed. The campground was very nice.

Only a one night stopover for me, did not make use of recreation areas. Roads and camping spurs are paved, easy to maneuver. sites not too close together, Restrooms clean and maintained. Did not see camp host.

This was the best experience! You can easily put your kayaks in at the nearby lodge pole day area, tyee campground or at Westlake day area! The siltcoos river float was amazing. I was so sad to leave! The only thing that didn't work out was kayaking the lagoon. There is no easy launch site.

I wish that I could have something bad to say about this place just to keep it to myself but it is a fantastic little primitive campground that my family and I have enjoyed for years. NO CELL SERVICE!! To me that's a plus.
