Don't particularly care for "dry" camping, but Lagoon was great. It was quiet, and the park Host was awesome and helpful. You have access to the dunes by foot without having to dodge atvs. ( I ride atvs to I am not dumping on all of them, but there are some that are very rude toward visitors on foot). Wax Myrtle is the other campground that you cannot ride out of to the dunes, so it is also a quiet campground with access to the dunes on foot.

The camp host was great. Worked very hard to keep restrooms clean and had great recommendations for places to explore. No firewood on site.
Large group of not so courteous campers-loud late into night, dog off leash, didn’t pick up after it, and trashed bathrooms.
Will be back- but for more of a midweek trip.

Love Lagoon campground. Flush toilets, clean campsites close to beaches and not too far from town in case you forgot to pack something.

Very clean campground with fire ring and bathrooms. Camping spaces are spread out from the neighbors for nice privacy. Can walk down to the beach on the path (over a mile walk), but very nice to have access. Highly recommend
