Very clean, quiet, family friendly campground. Right on a nice river for fishing. Close to town, Woahink Lake, and the beach.

The camp host was no where to be found. It’s right off highway 101 and very loud. Bathrooms were clean when we arrived but not kept up. By the last day they were nasty.

The camp host Mark was one of the best ever at this campground. He kept the bathrooms clean and was very respectful of all guests. Thank you!

We booked online only to find people setup in our campsite and no host on duty. I reserved online to avoid that very problem so was very frustrated. It was actually a blessing in disguise, as this place was dirty and loud and clearly nobody is regulating the guests or making sure reservations are taken care of so we went looking for another spot even though I had already paid for this one. Carter Lake campground, just down the road, had an open site for us and a nice host on duty. If that wasn't the case we would have been very sad campers for my birthday trip to the coast. We were there to float the Silt Coos River Trail, under other circumstances Tyee would have been a great choice since it is actually on the trail but also very close to 101 which is busy and loud so, again, I am kind of glad it didn't work out for us there.

Small, quaint campground. Most sites have access to the river from the campsite. Not recommended for RV's as most sites are extremely small.....tent camping mostly. We will definitely be back my granddaughters loved it!

From Florence, OR, travel south on Highway 101 for six miles to Pacific Avenue. Turn left onto Pacific Avenue and travel approximately 100 feet. The campground entrance is located on the right (south) side of Pacific Avenue.

General
- Guidelines for a safe visit to the Siuslaw National ForestThe Siuslaw’s campgrounds, day use areas, and trails continue to be open for public enjoyment. While you are visiting the Forest, please adhere to the following guidelines. These guidelines will help ensure a safe and healthy visit for you and your family, our employees and volunteers, and other visitors: Please keep in mind that restrooms are generally cleaned and disinfected at least once daily at the more popular campgrounds and day use sites, and once to three times a week at other sites.Be prepared to provide your own soap, sanitizer, or disinfectant.If no trash receptacle is provided, please protect your public lands by packing out your waste and trash.
- Forest Service-operated campsites on the Siuslaw National Forest are currently available by online reservation only. Visitors can make reservations online through this website (preferred), or via phone by calling the recreation.gov phone line at 877-444-6777. If you call this number, please be prepared for longer-than-usual wait times. Please note that the Siuslaw National Forest does not have any control over the recreation.gov phone line, so we ask you to please prepare by making reservations well in advance.
- There is a 14-day in 30 rolling days camping limit on the Siuslaw National Forest. The 14 days does not have to be consecutive. The 14-day limit covers the entire Siuslaw National Forest and not just this campground as shown in the Rules Section. This means you cannot go to other campgrounds on the Siuslaw National Forest after reaching the 14-day limit.
- No RV hookups provided
- Sites must occupied within first 24 hours of arrival time. Otherwise unoccupied sites will be considered a "no-show" and will be released.

- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. - Each campsite has a parking limit of 2 vehicles.
- On beaches designated for snowy plover nesting, certain activities are limited from March 15 through September 15. Read more about snowy plover management here.
- This campground is located in close proximity to multiple lakes and wetlands. Due to this, there can be an abundance of mosquitoes between the months of April and August. Please be prepared for this.
