What Guests Are Saying
Tyee Campground offers great access to the Siltcoos River, making it ideal for kayaking and enjoying the nearby dunes. Many visitors appreciate the campground's quiet atmosphere and well-maintained sites, though some have encountered issues with noise from the highway and unkempt conditions. While a camp host would enhance the experience, the natural beauty and recreational opportunities keep some campers returning despite the challenges.

There was feces in the camp (space 1) and multiple piles of toilet paper. The camp is about 100’ away from 101. The adjacent camp played loud music until midnight. The river was nice with a
ramp close by and open spaces, so that could be nice if you know what you’re getting into.

No camp host and when I arrived, someone else was in my space. We parked by the boat ramp, kayaked for the day and went home. Didn't use the camp site.

Cute camp site with easy water access. The camping spaces are tiny and without much privacy. It was pretty empty the weekend we were there, so this affected us less. There was no camp host on site and no running water (we knew about the water prior to arriving). Overall will be returning but will book two sites as, from my perspective, the sites are undersized.

Very nice, clean campground. Excellent camp host (Glen), and some very friendly neighbors. Right on the river, a beautiful easy paddle down to the lake. The only downsides are road noise and a rooster somewhere near by :)

Sites are very open, so not a lot of privacy, and the road is nearby so there is some noise. Overall, a nice little campground though.

We booked space 1 and I think that was the only reason we enjoyed this campground. The other spaces are wide open and close together whereas space 1 was all on its own surrounded by trees and private. There's a little staircase to the spot which make it look pretty cool but keep that in mind if you have anyone with mobility concerns. Only downfall to this space is there is no access to the river, we didn't care though because we didn't want to use the river anyways. Bathrooms are single person stall-type buildings with no lighting, no sink, no mirror. The highway is also very close so if you're hoping for peaceful sounds of nature you won't get much of it. Host was very nice!

The toilets were awful. Lovely location though.

This campground is located in close proximity to multiple lakes and wetlands. Due to this, there can be an abundance of mosquitoes between the months of April and August. Please be prepared for this. |
