Susan Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts. Many visitors enjoyed the serene atmosphere, spacious campsites, and excellent access to the Umpqua River for various outdoor activities. However, there were concerns about recent health issues related to water contamination and the absence of firewood sales, which disappointed some campers.

Space 17, 4/2023 Wow! Most definitely the cleanest and nicest BLM campground I've been to. Wonderful bathroom, flush toilet and showers for a small campground. Sites are meticulously maintained. Almost overkill on the cleaning. Space 17 fire pit is too deep, vent holes are too high from cleaning out too deep. Space is located next to host site, occasionally a motion light from the host site would light up space 17, road noise is minimal. Space is located away from the river, soothing water noise perfect db level (water flow was high). I would definitely visit again.

As always, clean. Craig and Marty have been hosts for many years and we are sad to know they are leaving. But, Vince is great and will be valuable taking over for them. Vince was extremely helpful and we look forward to our next reservation at Susan Creek later this summer.

Our 3 night stay at Susan Creek Campground was very pleasant. The bathroom and showers were always super clean and the camp hosts we're friendly. There are multiple hiking trails you can walk from the campground without driving to a trailhead. The town of Glide is close and it has a couple of nice restaurants besides a great Dollar General store.

Susan Creek Campground is awesome! The park-like area is right next to the North Umpqua River, and the sound of the rushing river adds to the ambiance of the otherwise peaceful setting. Camp host Craig and Marty keep the campground immaculate, and are friendly and welcoming!
