campsite only by reservation. I arrived and they had open sites and was a real pain to stand in parking lot next to camphost and log in on my phone and reserve. Should be able just pay the camphost. especially since it was off season mid week and there were open sites.
But the campground and host were great.

Camp host was gracious and shared their WiFi with us so we could make an account just so that we could pay to stay there. So kudos to the camp host for helping us out. Shame on campground management for requiring network connection to pay for your campsite.

Beautiful & quiet spot. Restrooms are immaculate. Host is extremely helpful. Elk viewing area and coast are close enough for a day trip.

Host was a perfect gentleman. To arrive and find Reservation Only was exasperating. Host let me use Wifi and got me in. Not being able to stay several days because someone else booked it really sucks.

Nice campground on the Umpqua River... a little more road noise than I like but not terrible. Very clean and well kept.

Booked a site at Tyee Campground in Oregon weeks in advance, then tried to cancel 2 days before due to the fires in Oregon, I didn't want to be outdoors in such smoky conditions. They said they would only refund $4 of my $22 even though I was cancelling because of hazardous conditions, which I feel should warrant a full refund. When I tried to email them asking if there was a way I could get my money back i got an automated response saying they weren't doing online cancellations currently, which seemed kind of weird and stupid.
The other campground I was due to stay at ended up closing due to smoke and they gave a full refund.

Earl is an amazing host. We got to Tyee often usually more in the beginning of summer. But this trip was to get away from the fires. We originally had reservations at cavitt creek , the kids have been waiting all summer to camp there unfortunately the fires made that impossible. Lucky for us we had Earl and Tyee for a get away.

We’ve (my family n friends) have been going here for several years every summer. The campsites are spacious and because I have such a big camping family we usually get 2 sites each year. Not too expensive and right by the river. We love it every year we go and always hate to leave. Always a pleasure to meet and remember the camp hosts each time we go. This year (again) it was Earl and his wife. Very good hosts and always ready to talk about the good ole days. If you’re looking for some good summer water fun and camping this campground is definitely the one. Just leave me a couple of sites to come too

Campsite was exceptionally clean. Each space was well laid out with lots of room. The restrooms were also very clean and well kept. The camp host was around and making sure everyone was enjoying their stay. We had a great visit with family and the fishing was so much fun. Will definitely be back again.
