LePage is our favorite spot to center ourselves before we head back to the city after a long road trip. It is peaceful, beautiful and the folks that check you in are always very nice and helpful. Last visit we got to watch bighorn sheep on the hill across the way.

Nice location on the John Day Columbia Rivers convergence. Boat, kayak launch site right there. Our site was ok but was down wind of the pit toilets. Site 15. Tip: Stay at the western end below site 15. Day park right next door with plenty of grass, and a beach area to swim. Restrooms there we flush toilets but disgusting. Staff was nice. Water/elect worked great. Dump station was right at the campground. Our 1st experience with a COE site. All in all a good experience.

No water. Very inconvenient. Love the park and hopefully next year water system will be fixed. Also, 4 of 5 days no ice was available. Had to drive to Dufur for ice.

This park is always clean and neat. Guests ar friendly--hosts enerally present and helpful. We enjoy being o the riverbank. and the trains plus the swim areas is a bonus. It was really hot this year--we manasged with our own water ut perhaps would have hosed down the blacktop had the park had water this year. Hope you got that issue solved

Great views of the river. Good paved parking and roads in the campground. And most importantly the staff there were FANTASTIC. Prices were very good for all you get.

Our 2nd overnight stay at Lepage, easy access and decent park, not sure we would stay for more than one night, seems like it is popular with fishermen

We stayed in one of the pull thru spots and enjoyed the view of the river. The staff was helpful and friendly. The maintenance of the spaces could be better.

Come prepared as their is no Verizon cell service, no over the air television, and accessing television satellites is difficult because of the nearby hills.

We've been enjoying this camping location since I was a baby (40+ years) and we were disappointed this time because the campsites were overrun with weeds. Our dogs were getting them caught in their fur and skin.
