The sites were very exposed to the wind. Vault toilets were clean no showers. The water had E. coli contamination signs at some posts but not on the web site or on the water faucets at the RV sites. Lots of campers had their RV water plugged in. The ck in post was closed early so I could not find out about the water situation. I would not stay there again or recommend it to other Rv’ers.

A beautiful location and camp ground. Kept very clean and safe. On the main loop, there is no bad spots honestly. Great place to fish and kayak. Definitely need to come prepared for wind.

It was a small, nice CG along the John Day River, particularly if you’re into fishing! Very windy while I was there, and just an overnight experience for me.

Very friendly park, met everyone from one end to the other. Our spot was awesome along the John Day River. It had enough room to squeeze our 11' camper, 20' boat and an extended cab Dodge in without trespassing on our neighbors. We are returning in September and hope to return annually or more. Oh yeah! Fishing was good too lol
