I spent two nights at Alder Glen, for my and my twin sister's birthday. We celebrated our 68th with a camping trip relatively close to home. The campground was spotless and the sites were even raked. The restrooms were very clean and well serviced. This was the first time I had stayed in a BLM campground. If this one is an indication of their quality, I will look for them on my future camping adventures.

Really nice to be right next to the water. Vault toilets were clean though I felt they could have had more because in the morning there was a wait. Main thing that irked me was the sites are really on top of one another. That kind of killed the vibe a bit. No service (which is fine), but there also aren't a whole lot of hikes nearby either. Be prepared to drive 45 minutes to the closest hike, if that's what you're visiting for.

While this small campground provides minimal space to run, play and explore, it’s a lovely, quiet spot for adults to sit back and ponder. Plan well as the closest services lie 17 miles west and there’s not a speck of cell service for a good 10 miles in any direction. The river made a beautiful backdrop but swift cold water and deep holes appear unsafe for young children.

Absolutely wonderful campsite! Site #9 was idyllic. Right on the river with a picturesque view of the waterfall. Good facilities and fresh water. The sites were well-spaced and relatively secluded from each other. Spots 5, 6, and 7 were all pretty close together and would be good for a group of people. Overall a wonderful experience camping there.
