What Guests Are Saying
Fan Creek Recreation Site is a lovely getaway with a flowing river and well-maintained facilities. While some sites lack privacy and proximity to others may be an issue, the campground is peaceful and clean, with a helpful camp host. Many visitors enjoyed their experience and plan to return.

Lovely spot. The river was low but still flowing and delightful. Surprisingly there were no mosquitoes. Disappointed there was a fire ban since it’s in such a wet local.

The eleven site campground is by a creek which is nice with many access points. But the sites are too open for my comfort. There is no forest growth between sites to give some privacy.

Campsite 5/6 Are absolutely horrendous and not worth paying for. Arrived to find out we were 2 feet from a different site and didnt even have room to put up our tent, ended up booking a different site and just double paying.

Everything was as good as legally allowed. Not the campsite fault the campfire ban was in effect. Peaceful and beautiful.

Fan Creek is nice for a getaway from city life but the sites are stacked on one another making it not as peaceful as one might enjoy. The entire site of Fan Creek is well taken care of and host was nice. If you like close proximity to others- no qualms.

Everything went perfect, check-in, weather and a clean site. Camp host was right there when we checked-in and quite helpful, answering out questions and wishing us an enjoyable stay.

Great place to get away from the world. Unplug and listen to the creek. Beautiful will definitely be back.
