The site accommodations were very nice. The campsite sizes are great, clean, and we'll equipped. Water access was nice. Our issue was the camp host was off duty the whole time. We reserved a site from the app but needed a site for the next night, we looked on the app and saw FF sites for the next day. The next morning we went to get a slip to pay for a new site and the box was empty. We walked to another camp to get a slip. We payed for a site that was listed as FF and put our slip up. There were no reservations on the post. We came back after a hike, and there was now a reservation for our site written on the post. This meant we had to pack up our site for the second time of the day and go look for another site. All the FF sites on the App now were actually reservations. This makes no since, why are they listed as FF if there are actually reservations for them? This was extra frustrating because the camp host was nowhere to be found.

Blue Bay is a beautiful campground. The spaces that we and our friends were in were right along the lake with direct access from one of the sites. The only thing that was bothersome was that there was no camp host or ranger on duty for the four nights we were there (Thursday through Monday) and the camp restroom ran out of toilet paper.

The campground is quiet and the sites are very nice. The only drawback was the Camp Host, or lack thereof. The "Camp Host" did not come to our site once and ALWAYS had the Sign in front of their site up that said they were off duty. Not once was the sign removed. We never received a car tag and was never charged for any additional cars. The bathrooms appeared to either not be cleaned are cleaned very seldom and when we were running out of toilet paper I went to another of the bathrooms onsite to take some extras to put it in the bathroom by ours. Oddly enough, 5 minutes later, the "Camp Host" came by our bathroom and removed the extra toilet paper.
After a couple of days being on the site I tried talking to the "Camp Host" and found him to be EXTREMELY rude and confrontational. I've been camping for many years and he is definitely the WORST "Camp Host" I have encountered. Be careful....

Campground was quiet, Site 1 has good access to the water and secluded from other sites which is nice. There are a couple good places for a tent and plenty of parking space. The bathrooms are close but we only noticed the smell a couple times. Suttle Lake is so pretty and a short drive from Newberg which makes it convenient. The highway is noticeable from the campground and you can hear the cars going by from the lake and campground. The Suttle Lake Lodge is handy and we had a nice lunch there. They also have ice and wood for those camping emergencies. We would stay again!

Tent camping was not enjoyable due to much yelling after midnight. There was also no camp host actively on duty during ur one night stay.
Overall the campsite did not seem secure which was too bad since the location was really picturesque.
