We enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay. It was cool and quiet and a great view of the lake. Nice trail along the lake. Saw many people with boats fishing, and several paddle boats enjoying the water. Most campsites had shade so it kept it cool.

We pulled in a little late in the evening and right away there was problems. Someone was parked in our spot right in front of our campsite. Blocking the only easy access into the site. Also when booking the reservation there was no description of the site telling that the parking was a ways away from the site. We ended up just sleeping in the main parking lot on an air mattress in the car. Really disappointing after driving 6 hours.

Campsite was beautiful right on the lake. Big sites with nice views. Only complaint was the noise coming from the road. It was downhill and many trucks were gear breaking.

Site is beautiful β overlooking the lake with easy access to the trail. Toilettes are adequate, although it seemed like it had been a while since they had last been maintained. The picnic tables are nice and level which makes for easy cooking.
Also, the complete disregard for the fire ban by several groups was rather concerning. There were βno fireβ flags in the fire pits plus signage everywhere, but since there was no ranger or host in the campground, people chose to ignore that.

Beautiful campground with waterfront tent sites. The lake was calm and gorgeous and perfect for paddle boarding.
Our only complaint is the jake breaks on big trucks was pretty noisy from the road across the lake.
