Neighbor had his generator running all night long every night. In the morning he turned the generator off and let his barking dogs out.

Know before you go. We stayed at Cold Springs two weekends in a row this month (Aug). Water from the pump was available. Toilets are vault and were in ok condition - well stocked with TP but could be cleaned better.
The only down side was one other camper who yelled at everyone that drove by. I should have reported them to the camp host.

Keep your reservation notice. My site wasn’t posted that it was reserved for me. Fortunately, no one else had claimed it.

The site was a challenge to get in because of some damage to the roadway (broken pavement around a culvert). The neighbor moved her car and made it easier because I was able to swing the nose of my truck into their space a bit. All in all, I would stay there again. A five-minute drive to Sisters, so that was nice.

Cold Springs has potential. The tall Ponderosas are beautiful. My main gripe is the poor management of the campground by the non existent Camp Host. With Dogs running off leash everywhere, generators allowed to run past the 10pm down time and loud drinking parties going unchecked late into the night made for a lousy weekend. We’ve stayed here before and know what a good park this can be.

Our young family has a great time at this camp ground. It was beautiful. No fires unfortunately while we were there though. The kids loved exploring the woods and shrubbery. They liked seeing the bats at dusk.

This was our first time camping at Cold Creek Campground. The campground was reasonably quiet considering it's just off the highway. I only selected "good" because the restrooms could have been cleaner and less stinky, also the only available water was tucked back into the brush, was a hand pump style and it didn't have a hose connection so we were completely out of water and we had to cart water out bucket by bucket. We usually fill out water holding tank when we get to the campground so that was very disappointing.
