Easy to find. I wasn’t at the campground during the day but at night it was quiet.

Great family friendly campsite near Sisters and a bunch of scenic highlights within easy reach - Smith Rock, hwy 242, Metolius River etc. Brought water. Easy to be distant from other visitors and minimize COVID-19 transmission risk. Friendly host.

My family and I were at cold springs campground and we’re passive aggressively harassed the whole trip by the camp host. Never did they say hi to us but every time we came back to camp our fire pit was a mud hole. I took pictures of our hand on the fire pit before leaving to show it was out cold and then upon return it was soaked 2 days in a row enough to make starting a fire difficult but not undoable. The only time we saw the host was when they were pacing our campsite entry with no return greeting when we would smile and say hello. We go there every year and never had this issue until this year.

Nice campground, large sites not to close together. Easy drive to Sisters or Bend Oregon.

The water could be a little better signed, but if you look, you'll find it.

This is a great place to camp in conjunction with any of the festivals in Sisters, Oregon. Close enough for easy access, but far enough away from the festival commotion.

I’m a little stumped (no pun intended) about what to say here. This is a great little campsite. It is quiet and well located between Sisters and the beauty and mountains on the McKenzie Highway. I was very happy here for the 1st night, had enjoyed a days hiking and taken pictures of the stars later on.
On the 2nd night however a tree came down while I was sleeping at about 2am. It resulted in a broken tent, a cut head and concussion. I appreciate that this is not the campsites fault as such and it is certainly the first time something like this has ever happened to me, but there was nowhere to seek medical attention or raise an alarm and so I left. It was a disappointing (and dangerous) end to what was, up to that point, a lovely trip. I did leave a note at the campsite but no one ever contacted me about the incident.

Great Campground, quiet, large sites, nothing special in the way of views or trails to wander but nice flat ground for tent and lots of room. The only complaint is when the wind picked up in the morning, all I could smell was the toilet! Couldn't pack up and get out fast enough. I don't recommend site next to outhouse. Peeewwww!
