Great. Clean bathrooms and great hosts. People next to us were pretty loud after hours but it was addressed. Dogs running around unleashed. Garbage was well handled. Friendly hosts. Excited for next year.

A busy, family-friendly lake. Clean, nicely kept up, helpful host. A surprising number of sites were marked as reserved but unoccupied even on Friday night.
- Hike around Suttle Lake was short but pretty
- Scout Lake: easy drive to nearby smaller lake to splash around
- Metolius Preserves: nice shorter hikes with a good flavor of the area
- Small lakes south of the Corbett sno-park on NF-2076: every one we stopped at was crowded mid week
- Hiking beside the Metolius River (got a good map at the Wizard Falls Hatchery): very pretty!

Sites are near the lake. Difficult to drive and park trailers.

The yurts are great! Each one has enough room for 4 people easily maybe even 5. They were within walking distance to the lake so we could easily transport our SUP boards. Plenty of tree cover for shade and a picnic table and fire pit at each yurt. My only complaint really is that there were several overfilled garbage cans that weren't able to completely shut around the site which gave off a foul scent. We also had dinner at the boathouse at the lodge across the lake but its about a 1.5 mile walk so def worth it to drive. Overall a great experience! Coming back in October!

We love Link Creek. The only issue this time was the green algae in the water. We were surprised as it is only mid July. Don't think there is much that can be done about it. There were not any signs posted warning guests about it. We did not even put our kayak or paddle board in the water.

Leah and George are OUTSTANDING camp hosts. We spent a lot of time with them on their off time, which isn't much. I have been going to Suttle lake since I was 9 months old. It is a beautiful place. The yurts are comfortable and well maintained.

The place was great! Our yurt site was the best, very spacious yet private and close to the water spigot. Camp host was very friendly and bathrooms were clean. The nearest bathroom was a walk, which is good, since apparently they smell for some reason, even though they are perfectly clean. The lake was very pretty and we brought SUP. Fish were jumping around at sunset but we did not catch any :) The trail around the lake is a must do and is very beautiful as well. 2-3 hours round trip.
The chipmunks are everywhere and have no shame. They carried away half of a hot dog, a baked potato and chewed through the garbage bag. So don't leave anything outside, day or night.
Overall the place is great and we would love to come back.

- Yurts are available for reservation year-round; campground closes in winter
- While the campsites are pet-friendly, unfortunately pets are not permitted within the yurts
- Prevent the spread of invasive species by inspecting and cleaning packs, equipment and tires before using lake or trails
- Please Note: One RV with tow vehicle per single site or one vehicle per single tent site. Two RV’S with tow vehicle per double site or two vehicles per double tent site. Most sites can accommodate 1 extra vehicle that is not included with the reservation fee. Extra vehicle will be charged a per night fee and collected at the campground.
- Fire Restrictions: Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions, at which time campfires and charcoal fires may not be allowed
- During your time in Central Oregon, you can find wildfire, prescribed fire and smoke information at centraloregonfire.org
- Reserved Sites will be held until the day following your arrival date. Sites must be occupied by the checkout time of that following day to hold a reservation or the site will be forfeited and released to other guests. Once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager will be able to modify your reservation.
- Refunds: Refund requests made through www.recreation.gov will be charged a $10 processing fee. This fee is retained by the reservation service contractor along with the non-refundable reservation fee. All requests for the return of the non-refundable reservation fee and the cancellation fee will be declined by the campground concessionaire as they did not receive these fees (these are the fees retained by the reservation contractor, a different entity).
- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. - Camping or otherwise occupying a single location (including leaving camping equipment and/or related supplies) for a period longer than 14 consecutive calendar days is prohibited. ‘Location’ means the occupied area, the occupied campsite, and the National Forest System lands in the immediate vicinity thereof. Camping or occupying any location on all National Forest lands for more than 28 calendar days total during a calendar year is prohibited.
- NO generator use is allowed in campgrounds. Silent power banks or battery powered devices are allowed.
