Summary

AI generated

Riverside Campground is praised for its clean, well-maintained facilities, spacious campsites, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite for many visitors over the years. Campers appreciate the quiet environment, particularly during holidays like July 4th, and enjoy easy access to nearby riverside trails. However, some concerns were raised about the condition of the vault toilets and the allowance of campfires despite high fire danger.

Nearby lakes are great; the large campsites are very nice and the river is freezing cold. The fish hatchery and country store downriver are interesting. Nice to have a no-RV campground along the river.

Small, nice campground. Could not find a map of the place online so went in blind. The sites are mostly all short pack in spots away from parking off the main road. Two pit toilets that were average. Sites are not very clearly defined but most seemed to have plenty of space. Not much privacy from other sites in the way of underbrush.

I like hiking into the site and it being very secluded from the others but I also wish they would keep the paths better cleared so I don’t snag my gear or have to climb over fallen trees.
