Clean camping area and the host was very helpful. It was quite with no loud parties, or barking dogs.

Beautiful lake, beautiful campground. We were very lucky to have warm weather while we were there. The sites are very big, and the lowest 10 or so are on the lakeshore. I will say, it can get windy. We didn’t have a campfire because of it.
Anxious to return

We love South Shore for its proximity to home and the availability of a few great sites with easy lake access. This is a busier lake with lots of FAST motorized watercraft, but if you go mid-week or during non-holiday periods it mellows out. We are big fans of sites 17/18 for the size, lake "beach" access, and simple "pull up" trailer parking. The parking pad is fairly level, so we are generally able to stay hooked up which makes for an easier load out and departure. You could literally have 5 tents in one of these sites.

Great campground. Right on the water. Facilities were clean and damp host easily available. A lot of dogs running off leash.

Camp host was great and very helpful. There is a hiking biking trail around the lake that is very popular. We hiked the 1/2 mile to the boathouse and got ice creams.

Great weekend at Suttle Lake. Was clean and quite by 9-10PM every night. Sites are spread apart nicely, and easy access to the hike/bike trail around the lake as well as water access. Only negative was that the bathrooms had a tough stench, but no flies. Will be back
