Nice trail by the campsite. It goes to the river. Very nice view.

I would stay there again. The grounds and bathhouse were nice and clean. Having firewood in hand was a nice bonus.

We had a wonderful time! The site was very large, plenty of shade and sites 11 and 13 would be great if others are traveling with you. The shower house was clean with hot water. So close to Warren for a fun trip into town! Will be back next year and will bring friends!

Excellent place to camp, quiet during the week. We put in at Betts Park and kayaked to Buckaloons. Beautiful float, great weekend to camp, even in the rain. Clean restrooms, truck came around with firewood to purchase, and ice was available on grounds.

We loved buckaloons! Everyone there was very but it’s a fairly private campground so we didn’t see others as much as we do at other campgrounds (which we love). Bathrooms were clean. Our spot (#10) was very nice. It stormed all night and while it was obviously a little muddy it didn’t have any huge puddles or anything. We’re already planning our next trip here. It’s our favorite campground so far. The only thing we wish it was was a playground for the kids.

Nice size sites. Quiet park. Funny the 3 sites right by us were all occupied while rest of sites were empty in the loop. We will go back.

This campground was a perfect location for putting in our kayaks. The facilities were decent. When I looked online to prep for the trip, it said not to bring outside firewood and that firewood is available onsite from the host. Not only did the host not have firewood available but when we asked where to get some they said they had no idea. haha, they were completely useless as hosts. My husband was able to find some firewood for sale less than a mile from the campground. Also, the second evening, some people drove through the campground offering firewood for sale from their truck. We would definitely go back here, since it is a great location for exploring the area and kayaking.

Large spacious sites adjecent to the Allegheny. The back loop has available electric. Pros: Sites are in a lush forested area. Basics available including flush toilets and showers in the front facility. Cons: Not many. Some sites appear to collect water with heavy rains. And being near Route 6 makes access easy but also means a background drone of traffic at morning and afternoon rush hour. All in all an enjoyable camping experience.

It's been about 10 years since we've been there. We used to go weekly because it was such a well kept campground. Now, it's so overgrown and not trimmed from weeds. Even the entrance to several sites have trees that are not trimmed which make it hard to get inside the site. Backing and going forward was difficult because the trees were not trimmed. The point where there is a bench so you look out both the Alllegheny River and the Brockenstraw Creek. Now, it is so overgrown that you can't see water. Very disappointing.
